Living Areas

Main Lounge | A large double aspect sitting room contains ample seating for up to 10 comfortably.  The living space is stylish, with contemporary decor that invites relaxation, the soothing neutral tones work well with the elegant furnishings to create a subtle feeling of calm. The 55″ flat screen TV with surround sound, Blu-ray & DVD player is provided with a large selection of DVDs & Blu-rays to enjoy. Adjustable lighting changes the look and feel of the room. Mood lighting is available all throughout the house (via the dimmer switches). A selection of board games and books are also thoughtfully provided.

Snug/Playroom | Located off the kitchen/breakfast. This fantastic room is comfortably furnished and entertainment is provided via the 42″ flat-screen TV for games and DVD’s. You can also gain access from here into the entrance hall. This fantastic room 2’nd lounge is furnished with a sofa bed for extra accommodation if required. Further entertainment is provided with an arcade games machine.  Some childrens games and toys are also provided. 

Kitchen/Breakfast & Dining Room

Kitchen/Breakfast Room: The atmosphere of the spacious kitchen is enhanced by the light flooding through the picture windows. Halogen down lights, highlight the quality features of this kitchen which includes the luxury of a Range-Master cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Other contents and equipment include a microwave, toaster, kettle, a good supply of crockery and cutlery (including children’s crockery and cutlery), pots and pans. There is ample surface space and plenty of cupboard space. There is a breakfast bar and also a sofa in this area. 

There are 2 high chairs and 2 travel cots provided along with an iron and ironing board.  The kitchen has french doors leading out on to the patio where the hot tub is found. 

Separate Dining Room: A great deal of thought has gone to make the house, comfortable, spacious and tastefully furnished. The dining room easily accommodates 10 people with plenty of space.

Games Room

The double garage has been converted into a room to give adults a place to have fun.  There is a pool table, darts board and a corner leather sofa to allow you to sit back and relax.

Bedrooms

The bedrooms are decorated in calming, neutral tones to the highest standard and comfort throughout.  Each bedroom has a wardrobe as minimum for storage.  All bedrooms are located upstairs apart from the sofa bed situated in the Snug/Playroom.

Bedroom 1 | Master bedroom with en-suite wet room). A spacious bedroom with double bed. There is a wall-mounted 26” flat-screen TV/DVD combo player.

Bedroom 2 | This room sleeps 2, contains a bunk bed - single size at top, double at bottom.

Bedroom 3 | An extremely versatile and comfortable room with the option of a king size bed which can convert to separate twin beds if neccessary. There is a wall-mounted 26” flat-screen TV/DVD combo player.

Bedroom 4 | As Bedroom 3, this is also an extremely versatile and comfortable room with the option of a king size bed which can convert to separate twin beds. There is also a sofa bed located in this room if needed. There is a 26” flat-screen TV/DVD combo player.

An additional sofa bed is located in the Snug/Playroom.

Bathrooms

Family bathroom: On the first floor you will find a family bathroom with bath, overhead shower, pedestal wash hand basin, WC.

En-suite bathroom: The master bedroom has an en-suite wet room with overhead power shower, wash hand basin, WC.

A Large Enclosed Garden with a HOT TUB!

Hill View House boasts a large private garden with beautiful views over Ilfracombe and beyond. A large patio area extends from the house and is home to a fantastic hot tub, BBQ, tables, chairs and a handy washing line. The patio is backed by a large grass lawn, meaning that there is plenty of space for relaxation and play in all weathers!

Parking

There is ample parking in front of the house for 4 vehicles.

 

The house is close to the Water Treatment Works where everyones fresh water comes from, South West Water Board, and has some great history behind it.   It was once was a small cottage where work staff once lived before everything got computerised, but this is no bother to the house itself and no guests have ever had a problem with it being next door (not attached or even very close to the house itself just shares a driveway.  

There are no near by neighbours so you really can relax and not have to worry about staying up late and playing music etc, just enjoy your holiday and relax.
